It’s hard to find a place where your teenager feels comfortable to deepen their relationship with God, isn’t it? You want them to learn more about Jesus in a safe environment where there are no silly questions, right? Well, we’ve designed our youth church group to be just that kind of space for them.
Our youth church group in Ballarat
Our youth church group is perfect for Christian and non-Christian families with children from Grade 6 to Year 12 age. We’ve got a range of different church activities and programs to suit your teenagers. If you’ve got younger kids, check out our kids’ church programs.
Converge Youth
Converge Youth is our main youth ministry program that runs from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Friday during the school terms. It’s designed to be a place where teenagers can develop their relationship with God and understanding of Jesus’ life through activities and Bible studies.
Youth camp
Our youth camp is a weekend trip packed with fun activities and guest speakers that help our newer and older youth kids build friendships and connections. We run it at the start of each year and can find ourselves at any location in Victoria — in previous years, we’ve gone to Halls Gap, Anglesea, and Kyneton.
State Youth Games
Each year, many of our youth participate in the State Youth Games during the June long weekend. It’s an annual sport and art event for Victorian high schoolers and young adults where they camp with friends, play sports, and worship God in a no-pressure environment.
